(Cushing, Okla.)  November 1st (2015), House Bill 1965, the Trooper Nicholas Dees and Trooper Keith Burch Act, will go into effect.  U Drive. U Text. U Pay addresses texting and driving.

 

A total of three press conferences have been scheduled in regard to House Bill 1965 and all three are to be held on Thursday, October 29th (2015).  The first is scheduled for 10 (am) at the Oklahoma State Capitol in the Blue Room.  The second is slated for 2 (pm) at AAA, which is located at 2121 East 15th St., in Tulsa.   And the third is also set for 2 (pm) at AAA, but will be in Lawton at 1924 NW Cache Road.

 

Several different speakers have been scheduled at the three different Press Conferences including some Senators and Representatives.

 

Brandi Dees, the widow of Trooper Nicholas Dees, will be in attendance in Oklahoma City at the State Capitol (Blue Room).
