37th Annual Stillwater Arts Festival


(STILLWATER, OKLA. / April 4, 2014) The 37th Annual Stillwater Arts Festival will kick off with free live music downtown Friday, April 18 beginning at 5 p.m. Headlining is country act Corey Kent White, who will take stage at 7p.m.

White, an singer-songwriter from Bixby, his currently a student at Oklahoma State University. He started is career at the Tulsa State Fair ten years ago and that lead to gigs touring with top acts like the Oak Ridge Boys, Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, Luke Bryan, Shooter Jennings, and the Big and Rich. White has recently released his first EP called Making Noise.

Stephanie Gudgel, festival entertainment coordinator, said she first White perform on the radio and live during the OSU Homecoming Walk-Around. "I was impressed. We also received a number of requests to feature Corey at this year's arts festival. We hope music goers will stay after the concert and enjoy a block party with a live DJ, food vendors and a beverage garden."

Free live entertainment continues on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Kalyn Robinson, Dave and Hannah Bradley (father/daughter), James Price Band, Jean Irish Dancers, Stillwater Honor Choir, and Taylor Thompson.
