Driver in Fatal OSU Homecoming Parade Crash is Psychotic, Defense Maintains A 25 year-old
Stillwater woman who crashed her car into a crowd of people watching the OSU
Homecoming parade killing four and injuring 46 others has been evaluated in
jail by a psychologist who found she is “acutely psychotic and in need of
immediate psychiatric treatment,” according to a defense motion filed Wednesday
for a court-ordered mental competency determination.
SPD Responds to Shooting On Wednesday, November 4,
2015, at 7:35 p.m., Stillwater Police responded to a citizens report of
gun shots heard at the Cedar Oaks apartment complex located at 4100 W.
19th Ave. Upon arrival officers located the victim, 20 year old Darian
Jamal Cyphers, who had multiple gunshot wounds. Cyphers was taken to
Stillwater Medical Center for initial treatment. The victim is in stable
condition. Cyphers is not a resident of Cedar Oaks and is believed to
be a Perkins, OK resident. He is not an Oklahoma State University
student and has no affiliation with OSU.
